![]() ![]() To begin with, the story takes us to rural America, where we’re introduced to Flynn Fisher, living in the countryside where jobs are harder to find than the unemployed. On the other hand, the more we learn about it, the more we seem to realize how impossibly difficult such a feat would be, but that hasn’t stopped the people of the 22nd century from finding a way, in William Gibson‘s The Peripheral, the first entry in The Jackpot Trilogy name. On one hand, better knowledge of it and its nature would, logically-speaking, eventually open up venues for its manipulation.
